"Retour à la Base" pour Thomas Ruyant ! Le skipper dunkerquois a franchi la ligne d'arrivée à Lorient ce mardi matin à 8h59 ! Il termine 17ème de cette transat retour de la Jacque Vabre, une belle performance compte tenu de son avarie qui l'a privée de grand voile: Thomas Ruyant naviguait depuis 5 jours uniquement avec ses voiles avant. En bouclant cette course, il valide son ticket pour le Vendée Globe de l’an prochain ! Il pourra assurément viser le podium sur son nouveau bateau qui vient de battre le record de la plus longue distance parcourue en 24 heures, en solitaire et en Imoca.
