La remontada de Thomas Ruyant ! Le skipper dunkerquois prend la tête du Vendée Globe, après avoir dominé tout le monde cette nuit. Grâce à son positionnement plus à l'Ouest, il a été deux fois plus rapide que certains de ses concurrents dans le passage du tant redouté Pot-au-Noir : une zone de l'Atlantique entre les tropiques où la météo est complétement instable et imprévisible. Il est en train de quitter le Pot-au-Noir en tête de course !
